The smartphone for Snapdragon Insiders sees Qualcomm working with Asus to offer the phone as part of a package designed for those who love all things Snapdragon. It might sound abstract, a bit like Intel making a laptop for its fans, but what it does is allow Qualcomm to push its own device. With over a million fans in the Snapdragon Insiders community, this phone is aimed at exactly those people. But at its heart, the Smartphone for Snapdragon Insider is an advanced Android device and it should be of interest to all Android users. Design and construction 173.1 x 77.2 x 9.5mm, 210g Additional scanner Dual stereo speakers The smartphone is made for Snapdragon Insiders by Asus and this gives you a great insight into what to expect. While Asus has launched its flagship - the Zenfone 8 - and its dedicated gaming phone - the ROG Phone 5 - it has nothing in that position.
What is this position? Great flagship phone. It's something of a fusion Belize Phone Number List of the Zenfone experience with the size and specs of the ROG Phone - and it's a solid base to start with. It's a big phone, of course, but there's a quality to the design and finish, with a few notable elements to set it apart. Most obvious is the Snapdragon logo on the back of the phone. This will appear either as a static logo or with a breathing effect. It only offers white light, so it's not the RGB effect that's common elsewhere. You can turn it off if you don't want it, you can turn it off when the screen is off - but unfortunately there's no link to systems like Do Not Disturb - so if you open your phone in the middle of the night, the logo brightens a darkened house. We've turned it off for this reason, which is a bit of a shame because it's so unique.
Another interesting tidbit of the smartphone for Snapdragon insiders is that it uses a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner rather than an in-display scanner. It is also mounted with a flat surface, so we found it a little more efficient than those that are slightly indented, and occasionally remind us that we are covering the entire scanner, but you will get used to it. The screen is flat, mirroring the performance of the ROG Phone 5 - with stereo speakers offering great performance for watching videos or gaming, but there's no 3.5mm headphone jack. There's also no IP rating, which seems strange for a phone at this price. We're guessing it's based on the ROG Phone 5, which also doesn't have an IP rating. That's probably our biggest criticism of this phone considering the price, though that's a complicated story we'll get into now. What's in the box? While most of the focus will be .
